To Do 3-4/ 3-20

General

  • Pay rent and other bills
  • Clean house, do laundry
  • Go to doctor and vet after spring break
    • Look into microchip for Herman
    • Give Herm new medications
  • Make & go to dermatologist appointment
  • Need new phone, possibly upgrade while home
  • Have mom help with Canadian passport application and get it out asap
  • FAFSA before March 15 Most likely need to make FAFSA corrections
  • Taxes?
  • Start amping up Herman’s exercise with longer walks throughout the days, do exercises when playing, monitor his food intake better, etc. (In progress.)
  • Shopping trip for things we need around the house
  • Pay any bills on myUFL
  • Receive new credit card
  • Order recommended book

Internship

  • Complete a 2-3 page progress report that “reflects on my experience thus far and poses questions that I may address in my final paper,” send to Dr. Babb
    • (Keep in mind I will have to do final 8-10 page paper at end of semester)
  • Send Leah a draft of survey questions, reflecting other tasks she wanted me to do (find out whether UK survey has been adapted for US use, find norms on data, etc.).
  • Find out what else I can be helping with
  • Email about attending film Wednesday

Advanced Feminist Theory

  • Check out books before spring break for final paper – Bloodroot Collective
    • Check syllabus for length, due date, and other requirements
  • Read next book on list during break
  • Start reading and drafting final paper

Sex, Love, and Globalization

  • Check out books before spring break for final paper – Soup kitchens in Latin America
    • Check  syllabus for length, due date, and other requirements
  • Read next book on list during break
  • Start next book
  • Write next précis
  • Start reading and drafting final paper

U.S. Women of Color

  • Read for class facilitation Thurs (no class Tues)
  • Check with Dr. Evans to make sure I know what to do as a facilitator
  • Compile attendance records and send them to Dr. Evans

Project (and Summer Plans)

  • Email potential faculty members; need to find advisor asap; find second committee member
  • Continue to apply for related summer internships and jobs
  • Start thinking locally about Master’s projects and employment/ internships
  • Look into possible financial aid sources (fellowships, grants, scholarships, etc.)
  • Research PACE center and prepare 3 page course proposal
  • Get Sadie Nash Leadership course designed, application out asap
  • Do writing exercises
