Disney’s Hollywood Studios

June 13, 2009

Yesterday Patrick and I went to Disney’s Hollywood Studios with his mom, sister, aunt, and four young cousins. Unlike the millions of times I’ve gone to Universal and Adventure Island, I’d never been here before, which made the day all the more fun. Highlights include: The Aerosmith roller coaster, the Tower of Terror, being handed fast-passes by a random girl just when we wanted them most, getting a free frozen lemonade “on Mickey,” watching Patrick’s aunt and sister perform as part of a special effects show, and eating the most delicious caprese sandwich and tomato soup at the “Earl of Sandwich.” Yum.

Patrick’s sister and aunt were chosen to be “actors” in the back lot tour, demonstrating how special effects are done. It was so funny, his sister especially put on quite a show.

More special effects, this time we were on a bus at the edge of a “cliff”–the water downfall was insane.

Was very happy when the sun started going down so it wasn’t so hot.
